Principle:
Horizontal ball mill is composed of horizontal cylinder, hollow shaft for feeding and discharging, grinding head and other parts. The cylinder is a long cylinder with grinding body inside. The cylinder is made of steel plate and fixed with steel lining. The grinding body is generally steel ball and is loaded into the cylinder according to different diameters and a certain proportion. The grinding body can also be steel segment.
According to the particle size of the grinding material, the material is loaded into the cylinder through the hollow shaft at the feeding end of the ball mill. When the cylinder of the ball mill rotates, the grinding body is attached to the cylinder lining due to inertia, centrifugal force and friction, and is carried away by the cylinder. When it is brought to a certain height, it is thrown down due to its own gravity. The falling grinding body crushes the material in the cylinder like a projectile.
Horizontal ball mill is widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation, glass and ceramics and other production industries to grind various ores and other grindable materials dry or wet. Ball mills are suitable for grinding various ores and other materials. They are widely used in mineral processing, building materials and chemical industries. They can be divided into two types of grinding: dry type and wet type. According to different discharge methods, they can be divided into two types: grid type and overflow type.
